MDS, our new Motor Drive System, is a family of **integrated AC brushless motors and drives** available in NEMA 56C and IEC 80 B14.

Mechatronics Systems developed the MDS family to address the growing need for smaller machines, reduced wiring, and better performance compared to AC induction or DC permanent magnet variable speed drives.

The MDS series combines a high-performance motor and drive in a single, compact package. With a significantly smaller footprint than traditional AC induction or DC brush motors of equal torque and power output, the **MDS motor drive system** outperforms conventional setups. Thanks to its superior efficiency, the MDS system is far **more effective than the AC induction motor and variable speed inverter combination**. It also offers servo-like performance, delivering full torque at zero to low speeds for precise motion control.

MDS is the first choice to replace DC brush motors and AC induction motors in both new and existing applications. It provides the performance of a brush motor while avoiding issues such as large size, brush maintenance, and inability to operate at high speeds.

**MDS is ideal for** **variable speed DC and AC induction motor applications** and processes. For new applications, you'll appreciate its small footprint, ease of wiring, high torque, energy efficiency, and excellent velocity control at low speeds.
